Coming to a show? Here are a few things to know before you go!Ā
Parking
There is no on-site parking at The Van Buren, however we have partnered with ParkWhiz to offer easy and reliable options in the area. Click HERE to book parking. Additionally, there is limited metered street parking and nearby lots that offer paid parking. Paid parking fills up quickly, so we recommend using Light Rail, Rideshare, or other transportation when possible.
Door Times
Doors generally open one hour before the show's scheduled start time.
Bag Policy
The following bag policy is in place: Bags up to 12ā x 6ā x 12ā are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.
Mobile Ticketing
All our events will be Mobile Entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print.

Cashless Payments
All points of sale will only accept credit, debit or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Cash to card conversion is available at the upgrade podium.
ID Requirements
For shows with age restrictions (18+/21+ only), a physical ID must be presented for entry. Digital and paper IDs WILL NOT be accepted. We accept any US issued passport card and permanent resident card.
For international IDs, we will accept government issued passports. Mexican consular ID cards will also be accepted.Ā

Our box office is located on 4th Avenue. The box office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12-4pm, and 2 hours prior to door time on show days. Our box office is cashless. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void and therefore not valid for entry. We recommend purchasing tickets directly via our box office, Ticketmaster or Live Nation only.

Arrival & Accessible entrances:Ā
The main entrance to The Van Buren is accessible. Guests with Accessibility needs do not need to wait in the General Admission lines; they may check in at the main entrance security podium for assistance. Unfortunately, the mezzanine balcony is only accessible by staircase.
Restrooms:Ā
There are accessible stalls in each of the main restrooms, as well as a private accessible restroom located near the entrance (please ask a staff member for access.)Ā
Ticketing:
When a show includes reserved seating, please note the designated accessible seats available for purchase online at thevanburenphx.com. Our box office is not equipped to take ticket orders over the phone and our website is the only method to purchase tickets.

Medication needs:Ā
If you need to enter with prescribed medication to be taken during the event, we require that all medication be in its original container with a name that is verifiable with a photo ID. Please only bring what is required for the duration of the event. We cannot store any type of medication. Over-the-counter medication must be in its original packaging.
Dietary needs:Ā
The Van Buren takes pride in offering a variety of choices for guests with special dietary needs, including gluten-free and vegan options. You may request to speak with a member of our Food & Beverage team with specific questions or concerns. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to meet all requests.
Service Animals:Ā
At The Van Buren, we have specific guidelines to ensure all guests, and their service animals are supported throughout their visit.Ā
Service animals are defined by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) as dogs or miniature horses that are trained to do work to perform tasks related to people with disabilities. The work or task the service animal is trained to do must directly relate to the person's disability. Service animals must be housebroken. Service animals are required to behave and not repeatedly bark, growl, jump up on or lunge at other guests or employees. Corrective action must be taken if the service animal is not behaving appropriately.
Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Comfort animals, emotional support animals, and therapy dogs are not listed as service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.Ā This also applies to the other species of animals wild or domestic, trained, or untrained. The ADA requires the service animal to be under the control of the handler. This may include using a harness, leash, or other tether. Our venue employees are not required to provide for, the care, or supervision of a service animal, including cleaning up after it. Service Animals must remain on the floor and are not allowed on dining chairs or tables in our food and beverage locations.Ā Live Nation and our operating partners have the right to deny access to a dog that disrupts our operations.Ā
Please contact a member of the guest services team if your service animal needs access to a relief area. You will need to exit the venue and re-enter with the assistance of a member of the guest service team.
Sign Language Interpretation:
The Van Buren offers sign language interpretation upon request only. Requests for interpreters must be received at least three weeks before the event date.Ā Ā
Please make your request by email to info@thevanburenphx.com and include how many in your party need interpretation and the ticket type you have. Interpretation requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter.
Assistive Listening Devices:Ā
Please see a member of the guest services team upon your arrival. They will provide you with an Assisted Listening Device in exchange for an ID that will be securely held in the box office.
Mobility Storage:
Limited storage is available for wheelchairs, canes, walkers, and other mobility devices. If you need access to your device during the show, please contact a member of the guest services team. There is limited electrical connectivity in the venue, please contact us prior to your visit for more information.

21+ Event: Club nights: Ages 20 and under not admitted.
Non-club nights: Ages 13-20 must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian. Ages 12 and under are not admitted.

Covid Protocols
At this time, none of our shows require health checks for entry, but please note that requirements and venue protocols (such as masking, testing, and vaccination) are subject to change. Be sure to check the event page for your show and our social media pages closer to the show date.

No, there is no re-entry. But why would you want to leave? The show will be great!
Refunds
Refunds are automatically issued when an event cancels. Refunds will be provided via the original point of purchase.
If tickets were purchased with cash at the Box Office, an in-person refund will be required. Please present your tickets or order confirmation number.Ā
Support acts are always subject to change, there are no refunds when support acts cancel.

Unless otherwise noted, events at The Van Buren are general admission, standing room only.

Third Party Ticket Vendors
Tickets for events at The Van Buren are sold explicitly via Ticketmaster. Purchasing tickets from any third party reseller (StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, Craigslist, etc.) is done at the sole risk of the buyer and is not recommended. We are unable to guarantee or verify validity of tickets purchased from a third party.
Tickets believed to be purchased for the purpose of resale may be canceled at the discretion of Ticketmaster or The Van Buren.
Any orders over the stated ticket limit on any event may be canceled at the discretion of TicketWeb, Ticketmaster, or The Van Buren.
Will Call

Can I pregame outside of the venue?
Drinking in line or in the parking lot before entering the venue is prohibited in accordance with Arizona state law. Violation of the law will result in a denial of entry into the show.Ā
