Doors Time
Doors generally open one hour before the show's scheduled start time.
Bag Policy
Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.
Mobile Ticketing
All our events will be Mobile Entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print.

Cashless Payments
Cashless payments will be available at all points of sale and are recommended
General Parking is available for FREE on a first come first serve basis. Located off of Magnolia Ave and Civic Center Way at 233 Magnolia Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020. Public parking after 4 p.m. M – F.
Premier Parking is available for purchase. Located on the east side of the theater off of Main Steet and W D Hall Drive at 210 E Main St, El Cajon, CA 92020 . No overnight parking, 2 a.m. – 6 a.m.
Rideshare info: Easy drop-off or pick-up for ridesharing guests is available at the corner of Rea Ave and Sulzfeld Way.
Please note that if you have WILL CALL tickets or are on a guest list, your tickets will only be available for pickup on the day of the show, 2 hours prior to the scheduled show time.
BOX OFFICE HOURS:
Our box office is open 2 hours prior to door on any show day, as well as Thursday and Friday 10am-4pm. If a show day falls on a Thursday or Friday, we will be open at 10am and remain open until about halfway through the show.
There are two lots available for event parking. Parking is free in all City lots in the area.
The North Lot is accessible off of Magnolia Ave and Park Ave (approx. 120 spaces). No overnight parking, 2 a.m. – 6 a.m.
There is a parking structure on the east side of the venue, accessible off of W.D. Hall and Main St (approx. 400 spaces). Public parking after 4 p.m. M – F.
Rideshare info: Easy drop-off or pick-up for ridesharing guests is available at the corner of Rea Ave and Sulzfeld Way.

Do you offer ADA Accessible Seating?
If you need accessible seating at any of our events, we highly encourage you to secure that in advance because space can fill up quickly! The best way to secure accessible seating is by purchasing an ADA seat online at www.TheMagnoliaSanDiego.Com. Look for the ADA icon on the ticket purchase screen. Up to one companion seat is allowed.
If you’ve already purchased non-ADA tickets, you can inquire about ADA accommodations by:

Please contact us in advance to let us know what kind of accommodation you will need. We do not recommend waiting until the show day to contact us, but you can also speak with a staff member when you arrive and they will accommodate to the best of their ability if space is still available.

What are the prohibited items?
Keep in mind our priority is to have fun while keeping everyone safe. In order to do so the items listed below are not allowed inside The Magnolia.
- No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind or any other item that could be used to inflict harm
- Replicas of any type of weapon
- No drugs, drug paraphenalia or illegal substances of any kind
- No outside food or drinks
- Metal or glass refillable water containers
- No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers
- No professional audio, video, or recording equipment (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs)
- No unsealed liquids or gels of any kind
- No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm
- No large bags over (12" x 6" x 12"), backpacks, Camelbacks or Bota bags. Purses and bags will be searched upon entry.
- No stuffed animals or toys of any kind
- Pets, skates, wallet chains, spiked jewelry or belts, banners, flyers, glow sticks, beach balls, balloons, Frisbees, or fireworks of any kind to any show.
Do you have an ATM?
Unfortunately we do not have an ATM on site. Our venue has gone completely cashless. All concession, bar and ticket sales, once in the venue, will only accept credit or debit cards and/or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Cashless payments are encouraged for ticket purchases at the box office. Cash to card conversion will be available inside the venue, dollar for dollar, without any service fees.
Is there a dress code?
If you plan to enter through the public entrance, there is no specific dress code, but clothing and shoes are required. Style is totally up to you.
Not allowed:
- Any clothing that has words, pictures or terms that may be offensive to other guests. Clothing that is too revealing and does not adequately cover private body parts
- Face paint
- Masks
- Clothing worn for the beach, sleepwear, or exercise/workout may not be permitted.
Do you have a lost and found?
If you notice you are missing an item during a show, check with any of our event staff at the front door at the end of the show. Any items turned into us at the end of a show are held in the Magnolia Box Office. If you notice you are missing an item after the show, please email TheMagnolia@LiveNation.com and somebody will get back to you during our office hours.
What are the age restrictions?
Unless otherwise noted, most shows are an all ages. All patrons regardless of age must have a ticket to enter the facility. 18 or 21+ shows will be noted online and will require valid ID. All Magnolia guests will be asked to provide valid ID regardless of age.
Children of all ages are welcome (with an admission ticket) at family-oriented concerts and performances. Children under the age of 2 are free but must attain ticket at the Box Office prior to entry. Appropriate adult supervision may be required.
For any concerts and performances that may not be suitable for young children, venue management reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason, including concerns about safety.
Children of any age may NOT attend a "18 and up" or "21 and up" concert or performance.
My show has cancelled. How do I get a refund?
Once a show has cancelled you will be refunded the entire amount (services fees included) of your ticket price via the point of purchase. If you purchased a ticket online - your credit card will automatically be refunded (if the show is not rescheduled for a later date). You can always also call 800-745-3000 to speak to a Ticketmaster representative regarding your refund or come down to our Box Office to inquire in person.
What kind of food do you serve?
The Magnolia lobbies will serve classic theater fare including fresh popcorn, hot pretzels and king-size candy selections. Check out our plaza for fresh street tacos, elote and nachos. We also feature full bars with specialty cocktails and craft beers.

- CAN I BRING A WATER BOTTLE TO THE SHOW?
Guests may bring in a sealed plastic water bottle, maximum size 12 ounces, may not be opened. Guests may bring in a plastic water bottle that’s empty to re-fill at one of our water stations inside. Metal or glass beverage containers are NOT allowed in the venue.
- CAN I BRING MY CAMERA? CAN I VIDEO TAPE THE SHOW? CAN I BRING MY AUDIO EQUIPMENT?
It depends on each individual artist or performer's policies. Usually, small point-and-shoot cameras and cell-phone cameras are allowed. Cameras with lenses on them are considered to be professional-length are not allowed to be brought into the venue, unless artist has given prior approval to individual. Security will ask guests to leave such cameras in their cars. Audio or video recording is also almost never allowed at concerts unless otherwise noted.

For all ticketed events, please note the following updated policies:
Face coverings are strongly recommended for fans who are not fully vaccinated, unless actively eating or drinking, per CDC guidelines.
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, note our Clear Bag Policy:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (maximum size: 12"x6"x12")
- Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (maximum size: 4.5"x6.5")

- HOW DO I BUY TICKETS TO UPCOMING CONCERTS?

The Magnolia cannot confirm the validity of third-party tickets. The two official ticketing platforms for The Magnolia are ticketmaster.com and livenation.com. We suggest guests verify their method of delivery prior to arrival. Mobile Delivery QR barcodes are accessible through the Live Nation Mobile App using the same email address used to purchase the tickets. Will-call tickets are available for pick-up at the venue’s box office 2 hour prior to doors on the day of the show only. Guests with questions regarding their tickets should contact their original point of purchase.
